I lost 1 command point by breaking up the flyer wing, but i thought the contemtptor with a butcher cannon was a tasty substitue for the xiphon. The butcher cannon give a -2 Ld modifier that will work nicely with the legion trait of the night lords. My plan is to pound key units with the fire raptors and use my hammer and anvil units to mop up.

Can't comment on effectiveness but I can certainly say I like the look of it. Plus after reading ADB's Nightlord series I wanna do a nightlords army.

You are in for a treat, as Chapter Approved brings down Fire Raptor point cost quite a bit!

Your list looks great!!! Now i play mostly down at the 1000 pt lvl but things i would consider tweaking are:

Switch the terminators to powerswords. 5pts saved

Give each CSM squad a combi-melta, a flamer, 3 chainswords, MoN and IoD
These guys will be able to plug any gap and take on all kinds of odd jobs.

Run the contemptor w/2 butchers, a havoc launcher and a MoS.
Take advantage of the 2 stratagems used for fireing twice.

Bikers throw a MoN and IoD on them.

Change out the DA for a Termie sorcerer with a force axe, MoS, Intoxicating elixer, Warp Time and diabolical strength.
You can use him as a beat stick escorted by your 5 termies.
