Really lovely models, the armour is terrific. Did you airbrush or paint the red parts? They look like brush-work?

Thanks Oppl! The red parts are indeed bristle brushed.

The blue on the inside of the jump packs is outstanding. The flat black of the armour looks almost like carbon fibre. Wonderfully understated pieces.

Echoing what others have wrote; the models look great! The black has a lot of depth. The red swords look great. The thrusters on the jet packs, also, well done.

I think you have nailed the death company on every level. The painting is superb and really gives a tonne of depth to the black armour, while still being black and not dark grey all over.
The choice of models is also wonderful. The more simplistic look of the Mk.IV plate really work with the death company. I never could get behind the highly ornate death company models as they were supposed to be painted black on the eve of battle, not have time to add a tonne of dangly bits and stuff lol.
Great job all over mate, if I didn’t have a butt-tonne of the old metal 3rd edition death company I’d very much steal this look!

Gorgeous. Simple, Stark, and entirely in character with the lore of the Death Company.
