Okay another boxed set of calth, more HQ's. I'm turning the power armour one into standard bearer but for terminator one I would like chaplain version for some fearless goodyness. However how to make him stand out a bit?

One thing I would need is crozium arcanum. Guess time to replace the chainfist from the model but that's not easiest ones due to pose. Would some staff with the power armour guy's staff's head work with terminator model? How to more "chaplainify" him? Were 30k chaplains already walking around skull masked?

And I realized I have 9 plasma and melta minus couple I think I have used for conversion elsewhere. I have 10 PA guys I was planning to put into blood angels as support squad and magnetize weapons. Originally thought to buy forge ones but...Well if I have workable weapons from plastics why NOT use them? I get 10 of each later as I'm sure I'll get another box one day or I could use prospero ones to get full 10 of each. I PRESUME the ones are compatible with forge one? Ie I magnetize with pose with plastic one forge one slots in without issues?

Really ambitious conversion could be magnetize arms and backbacks too so I could field them as heavy support with missile launcher as well. Hmmm...

I can't help much on the crozius, but I can tell you that simply replacing the entire chainfist arm isn't all that terrible. I'm converting mine with a lightning fist, and I found that the cataphractii arms can work with a little trimming. You just cut down the "straps" from the arm until you can fit it in the slot for the body (you may have to shave away one of the straps from the body as well), and you're good to go. The straps are a slightly different style, but I plan to cover the area with purity seals anyway so it's easy to hide. You could also just do some minor sculpting with green stuff.

Maybe you could use a cataphractii sword arm, and then replace either the weapon or the whole hand with something more appropriate.
