I would drop the avatar and bring a squad of fire dragons to put in the Webway Strike to take out any important armour. The avatar isn't going to do much for you all alone with no 'bubble wrap'

Mainly wishful thinking, but the rangers and spiders are better than you would think with doom on a tank. That said though, pretty much relying on the avatar for most of the heavy hitting... and a fusion pistol. I mean possibly smite and illic too. I don't really know to be honest haha.

I haven't had many games of 8th edition, and have only come across armies with 1 or 2 vehicles, so don't have the best experience writing lists for certain roles in this edition yet.

I don't even think this list has much anti infantry to be honest.

Was planning on out manoeuvring and staying in cover for the most part.

Is there anything in particular you would change or recommend?

How will the avatar have no bubble wrap?

Are you suggesting 10 fire dragons would do better?

i just feel this army needs a deterrent / distraction carnifex. Which i feel the avatar does rather well when hidden behind troops..

I wouldn't rely on Doom for tank killing. Rerolling is great but not when you have little to destroy tanks in the first place.

I was always a fan of using the re rolls for things that need 6s... such as the snipers for their mortal wounds, and things (also sniper) with pseudo-rending. What would it be better used on?
