Hey all,

Prettymuch the title. The playerbase at my local GW store is mostly AoS focused, so I'm looking to expand my 40k players network. I'd like to dip my toes in to some competitive play, but if you're not competitive, drop me a line and let's find time for a game anyway!

Also, if anyone knows of tournaments that happen or stores where more competitive play tends to be the norm, I'd love to hear about it.

Thanks!

If you aren't in it already I recommend joining the NC Warhammer 40k group. I hear there is a pretty lively crowd at Atomic Empire in Raleigh (or Durham? I forget which one lol). I'm located south of Greensboro and we don't have a heavy tournament scene here but we've got a small player base out of Kit Kringle. There is also Gaming Underground in High Point. Those are the shops near me.

If you use discord and want to try and connect with some of the NC 40k people I know (or get connected in some Facebook groups etc etc) here is a link:

Thanks! I'll definitely check out those areas when it's time for tournaments.

If you don't mind the drive. The Labyrinth does 2 40k tournament a month in Taylorsville. They use ITC rules.
