Hiya as the title says I was wondering how hard it is to convert them? Like say if I wanted an all primaris model army, how hard would it be to make a inceptor and turn it into a captain with jump pack and shield/sword?(Using the rules for a regular marine captain with jump pack, but to keep the army uniform in look of all primaris) I ask because I'm contemplating shelving my rambos for now and starting this as a project! And I had a idea of reviving the Astral Knights with primaris!! Is this something you would frown upon? Using Primaris models and using regular/primaris marine rules? Also do regular space marine weapons look ok in the hands of primaris?

Green stuff makes it all easy

As for will this be frowned upon? Depends on how sticky to the rules your local group is.

I for one would love if the old minis would be replaced by them as Primaris look so much more anatomically correct, the old models are outright ugly in comparison, was having the same thoughts as you

I've no exp with the stuff tbh. Guess no we a good time as any to learn! Also do primaris look ok with marine sized weapons? It's gonna be interesting to turn a intercessor squad into tac squads, and so on.

Presumably rule wise all will be non primaris? If all models are primaris and rules are mix&match that will cause confusion

Things like weapon, head, shoulder and backpack swaps are super easy. Normal marine weapons look fine, for example Primaris bolt carbine is the exact same size as normal bolter.

Thanks for this! sorry for not being able to respond right away, work and the thanksgiving holiday kept me busy! Also to the other poster I was considering making the entire army using primaris models, so a tactical squad would have primairs bodies but the loadout, same for assault marines, and so on, granted I could use different markings to distinguish the regular marines from the primaris rules wise, however I'm assuming the loadouts between the 2 will be radically different to prevent confusion.
