On a surly Warboar, leading the Waaagh!

Well, we've begun the end-of-year Holiday season and what better way to kick it off than with a massive feast!

My wife and I are hosting 10 people at the Casa de Waaagh today, primarily family but also a couple friends. Yours truly will be cooking as per usual, except for the deserts which my wife's mother makes...she's an amazing baker.

Here's todays' fare:

Crab Cakes w/red and black caviar
Caesar Salad
Grilled Brussels Sprouts
Collard Greens w/Bacon and Onion
Mashed Sweet Potatoes
Brandied Cranberry, Smoked Sausage and Sweet Potato Stuffing
Turkey
Porcini Mushroom Gravy

Apple Pie
Bourbon Pecan Pie
Pumpkin Pie
Pumpkin Roll

I've got a lot to be thankful for this year, as we all do really if we think hard enough about it. I hope your Thanksgiving will be wonderful! So what is everybody else having for a nosh?

A hamburger, cooked potatoes and some carrots and peas. Trying to keep my dinner somewhat light before training later tonight.

Happy Thanksgiving to you!

I’m going to my sisters. She always has a great spread of various foods and new recipes, but I’m stuck in my simple ways.

Just turkey, mashed tators and corn for me.

I just hope its not a pregnant turkey:

I hope those that celebrate Thanksgiving are having a happy and safe one, with plenty of grub, antacids, and added pounds.

I ate too much today, myself.
