If a Neurothrope kills 6 models with smite, how many wounds can it heal on surrounding ZOANTHROPE units?

The amount the rule say to heal, one per slain model.

That's certainly what I thought, based on the rules I have read, however I've seen a lot of comments from people saying they can only heal 1 now and I was wondering if I had missed something.

its 1 per model killed, but at the same time, it can only heal models that are within 6", not any model in the unit.

Its ability is more useful on itself to heal perils of the warp damage mostly and it cannot bring back dead zoans, so its not like the heal is that strong.

And he can heal himself, right, as he has the ZOANTHROPE Keyword?

yes he can heal himself.

The coolest thing about the heal is that you heal one wound for every model killed. So if you kill 3 models you can heal one wound off a zoan, one off another zoan, and one off himself.

All the injured models just have to be within 6" of the nuero casting the smite. It favors having multiple small units of zoans, rather than having the multiple large units that a jorm deep strike list would like.

I think this is really strong n a group of 4-5 Neurothropes.
