There's no stats for the main basic weapon of Goliath, the stub cannon.
The electro whip has the trait versatile, yet thats not described in the weapon traits.

I've just picked up my copy and within 5 minutes of skimming gang war I've found two glaring omissions, not simple typos, game breaking omissions.
We get it GW you wanted to print part of the rule book as a separate book, and will continue to do so with the rest of the gangs to stretch the profit further....so the least you could do is bother to provide a product that's worth paying extra for and proof read the damn thing. How in 5 minutes of casual reading did I catch things not one person did in the development team? Things every single player will spot their first read? You didn't ever read what you wrote or play even one test game did you?

Well at least it's comforting to know after all the talk GW is still exactly as it's been for the last decade.

Funny, it took less than 30 seconds to find both of those in the rule book, pg 72 and pg 79. Maybe the least you could do is actually read the book?

While they are covered in the base rule book, he was talking about the Gang War book in his rant. Where despite the stub cannon having a point cost and being available to Goliaths, the stats aren't given. Nor is 'Versatile' defined there, although it is in the whip's notes. While the Gang War supplement is useless without the basic rules, it is still weak editing.

I said gang war. Why would they release a book with all the weapons rules...except 1. And all the weapon abilities....except 1. They obviously fethed up and didn't proof read their own book when they cut it out of the main book and slapped it together to try and make it a separate rule book for more $.

They were hiring for a copy editor a few months ago. It's my main complaint with GW. They are bad writers and have very poor proofreading.

Try the legacy gangs pdf and you will cry.

Delaque leader with flak but his men have mesh.
The boltgun become D1 (but the bolt pistol still is D2 and so the boltgun in combi-weapon).
And others things that maybe aren't typo, but are surrely stupid (and for the record I am ok with the "let's make it short and simple: all the power weapons have the same profile than the power sword, parry included):
The two handed weapon is... well... worse than a combat blade (-1 accuracy, no strength bonus, only -1 AP and D1. And unwieldy. But still cost 20 credits.).
Flail don't seem to exist (in french. In english they are. But I haven't found the entangle rule).
Rapid fire (1) and not 2 for a heavy stubber? Like an autogun or a boltgun? And D1.
No chainsword?!? In WH40k. In Necromunda. Everybody can buy plasma gun, combi-needle and power sword, but no chain-sword?!?

Etc, etc...

EDIT:
I still think it's stupid to forgot the chain-sword, but I have found a way for a semi-official information.
If you look at the Gor Half-Horn profile ( https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/resources/PDF/Downloads/Gor-Half-horn-download-combined.pdf), you will find the chain sword.
Ac+1, S, AP-1, D1, Melee, Parry
Well... It's exactly a sword... (meh)
So, if it looks like a duck... I will use the cost of the sword here.

I can't speak to the Bolter damage issue, but the Heavy Stubber one is intentional. It'll be Rapid Fire (2) come the Orlocks.

lol ironic typo.

Does seem to be a common issue with their media, I agree they need a better editor/proof reader. But there’s really no need to be so agro about it.
This edition I’ve been buying mostly digital copies so that hopefully they get updates.

Intentional?!?
Like in "give them bad rules for the moment and, when a new model with this weapon is released, we will upgrade the rules"?
Let's hope that rules for chaos and genestealer cult will arrive soon, because they have heavy stubber too.

More like "Let's not give legacy gangs a heavy weapon that will overwhelm new players right away".

I'm not sure that will help too much. GW's problem has always been that they won't pay even close to the market rate for professional, trained staff. I'm not sure they even have the correct environment for a competent copy editor to operate, given their fairly laid-back approach to rules in general.

Also, if that's true about the Heavy Stubber that's just ridiculous. So there'll be 2 Heavy Stubber profiles depending on which gang you're using? What's the point in that, other than another attempt to bleed players dry by selling everything through the Gang War books?

I suppose that the new (orlock/chaos cult/genestealer cult) heavy stubber profile will upgrade the old and become the only one to use.
But for the moment, 130 credits for an rapid fire (1), strength 4, -1 accuracy at long range, 1 damage, unwieldy weapon is big no.
Better taking bolters or a lot of autoguns for the price (or, I a want a special weapon, the grenade launcher seems very (tooo?) good).

I think the complaint I would focus on is for the amount we are expected to spend, one would think the quality would be a touch better.

I write many documents for my company.
Mine when on final release ARE PERFECT.
I put out a reward of coffee and donut for the first person to point out each unique error in the document by email.
Each entry goes by the email receipt time/date.
I let my boss be the judge in this matter.
He finds it funny to no end.
The plain old outlook approve/disapprove vote buttons just were not doing it for me.
People actually look forward to my documents.
Sometimes I will allow a correction for "bad wording" when it could be made more clear.

I tend to release right at lunch time to make sure everyone has a fair shot at it.

Anyway, just saying there are many methods to give some incentive to write a tight document and get it edited within an inch of it's life.

Bravo Talizvar! Great idea.

There is no excuse for the horrible editing and proofreading in GW media in general and in especially in the new Necromunda. It is amazingly bad.
