Haven’t seen any chit chat about this, so it may be a subscriber exclusive.

One for Shadespire (healing potion), several for Quest (yay!), one for Bloodbowl.

No pics, as want to steer clear of possible copyright troubles for Dakka.

Other releases?

Dark Angels Lieutenant has a choice of bonces. The derpy hood head, and one in a skidlid.

Blood Angel has a choice of right hands - empty, or Pistol.

Also Dangel and Blangel Primaris upgrades.

Blight Hauler is £15/€20/$25US/$30CDN/$35AUS/$45NZ

Combat Cards return!

Filthy Elveses for Bloodbowl, and some cards.

Holy crap Combat Cards are coming back? Think I still have some originals somewhere...

There’s also rules for using Hybrids and that in Space Hulk.

Ideal if you usually play the Space Marines and are sick of getting your head kicked in!

Nice that they have used the original Combat Card logo, it's lovely

I completely forgot about those cards. I had a pack but can’t work out which one, think they may have been the chaos pack.

Hmm, never heard of Combat Cards, but card games are always fun! Shame they use pictures of models and not proper artwork though, that feels a little lazy and boring to me.

Mini photos are better for Little Timmy to see a model on his new cards and then proclaim "Parent, buy me these as miniatures!!!" Artwork might confuse poor Timmy.

The Combat Cards always had photos of the miniatures on them, before we start down the "it's new and now it's rubbish" route.

There's a few folk on Oldhammer groups collecting all the miniatures from various sets. Which is a little tricky, as one or two of 'em were unreleased.

Yeah, combat cards always had actual miniatures.

You guys really are going to have to let up on "little Timmy" at some point. That poor kid.

"Little Timmy" is in his mid-twenties now. Probably a plumber, and built like a brick outhouse.

I remember playing a game with the original combat cards back in... '94. Man... that was a long time ago.

Can't imagine why they'd bring them back. What's next, a new edition of Chainsaw Warrior? Mighty Empires?

Combat Cards? Geeez, I feel old.

Mulitplayer games were fun though.

A small filler game, but I don't think veteran players are the target here.

I'll almost certainly grab a set of the combat cards for my 5 1/2 year old son.
He'll love them (almost as much as i probably will ! )

Though it will be accompanied by 'Daddy, lets go and buy this one...'
And no, hes not called Timmy!

Eh, today Combat Cards, tomorrow Block Mania, but not in the Judge Dredd setting, but maybe in Necromundas Hive?

Strange days indeed...

Chainsaw Warrior has been released in video game form fairly recently, hasn’t it?

I’d love Mighty Empires, especially if the tiles were compatible with the plastic hexes they did a while back.

Season of War seems to be a successor to Mighty Empires, at last as far as being a campaign system for Warhammer. And at Warhammer Fest, Railway Rivals was suggested as the next Specialist game ...

Some words for ya....

3D plastic objective organs....oh yes.

Would also be a good time to update the now somewhat dated plastic Marine Scouts.

I was considering buying into Shadespire, but now I'm definitely not going to. I thought they'd hit on an FFG style game with aesthetic only prize support, but fast forward a month or two and we're looking at a limited edition (since it's in a White Dwarf) card that has in game impact.

No thanks. Same old GW. Limited release rules. This should have been an alternate artwork card.

If they could make the tiles feel ever so slightly sticky ...

It is more like a bonus, not a game changer. Having (or not) this one card in your deck doesn't automatically make you win (or not).

Healing Potion is a neutral ploy card in the starter set. So there's at least a chance its an alternate artwork card. Guess we'll know for sure once someone posts the details.

Yeah, and I'll be happy if it's just a regular Healing Potion card. It's annoying having to re-sleeve and put the single Healing Potion card you get in all the different decks.. MOAR DOUBLES PLEASE

You get two Healing Potion cards in the starter set. This sounds like an alternate artwork card.

2000 Khorne Bloodbound (Skullfiend Tribe- Aqshy)
1000 Tzeentch Arcanites (Pyrofane Cult - Hysh) in progress
2000 Slaves to Darkness (Ravagers)

Does shaadespire's healing potion (one in the box) say:
Choose a friendly fighter and roll a defense dice.
On a roll of a shield or exclamation mark (they're obviously in-game symbols) remove up to two wound tokens from them. Otherwise, remove one wound token from them?

There is a dagger in the top left corner and a skull inside a circle/halo type symbol on the top right corner.

If the original card looks like the above description, then the WD version is an alternate art version.

Yup, that's what my copy in the box says exactly. Guess it is an alt art card then, horay
