How's it going? I played Warhammer 40k back in 5th edition, back when I didn't have any disposable income and basically was a kid who had no idea what he was doing. Since then I've decided to return to the game after over a decade. After spending a couple of weeks mulling over which army I wanted to play this time around, I decided on Space Marines (chapter undecided). I purchased the Start Collecting Box and it just came in the mail the other day!

I'm guessing there's another forum where I can ask for advice on arming my units, but I guess I'll ask here too. I wanted to split my 10 Tactical Space Marines into two 5-man squads. I figured that's the best way to have two Sergeants and two special/heavy users in my initial army. I want a generalist set-up, something that would be good against most armies. What special/heavy and Sergeant setup should I use to achieve that purpose?

Thanks!

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

IceAngel wrote:I must say Knightley, I am very envious of your squiggle ability. I mean, if squiggles were a tactical squad, you'd be the sergeant. If squiggles were an HQ, you'd be the special character. If squiggles were a way of life, you'd be Doctor Phil...
