Just curious...
We'll exclude Fulgrim, Mortarion, Magnus, Angron, Perturabo and Lorger and anyone else that didn't "dissappear" as such.
1. Obviously Ferrus
2. Alpharius? Doesn't Dorn kill him during the heresy?
3. Sanguinius
4. Horus
5. Lion? When he returned to Caliban after the Heresy
6. Curze? I'm guessing shortly after the heresy also
7.
8.
9.
10.
11.
12.
13.
That leaves Guilliman, Khan, Corax, Dorn, Vulkan, Omegon and Russ
Pretty sure Dorn was one of the last to go.
In Dark Imperium Guilliman says Khan and one of the others, i can't remember which, is still around while bleeding out from Fulgrims wound.
And the word always was one of the Alpha Legion primarchs was killed by Guilliman after the Heresy.
So I can start to put them in a rough order but any help with the remaining few would be much appreciated.

vulcan would probably be last, because he comes back for the war of the beast series, but then again the whole comes back bit implies he'd already disappeared i guess

Corax was the first to go. He disappeared into the Eye of Terror very shortly after the Heresy ended. Dorn died shortly after Corax disappeared, in battle during the Scouring. Vulkan likely was the second of the Primarchs to leave. There are almost no mentions of him after the Heresy and it is mentioned he was gone for about 1500 years when he returned during the War of the Beast, which would places his initial disappearance in ~44.M31. Guilliman was fatally wounded in 121.M31. It is unknown when the Khan disappeared into the Webway, but it happened during the Scouring, so likely he falls somewhere between Corax and Russ. Russ was the last to leave. He left to seek the Tree of Life in 211.M31. Vulkan returned during the War of the Beast (544-546.M32) but presumably died for good while fighting the Beast, although the Salamanders believe him to still be alive. In any case, he hasn't been seen since. Alpharius and Omegon remain question marks. Presumably, Alpharius was killed by Dorn during the Heresy in what probably is the most anticlimactic piece of 40k fiction ever written and Omegon was killed by Guilliman shortly after the Heresy during the Scouring. But the Alpha Legion is the Alpha Legion, and as with everything about the Alpha Legion the fact whether Alpharius and Omegon are really dead remains shrouded in mystery.

I'd consider it as such, as it's essentially the end of their physical bodies.

Dorn didn't die/vanish until well after the Scouring in 781.M31 (some 500 years after the HH). He was one of the last loyalist Primarchs and was apparently deeply depressed and lonely by that point, something that may have led him to make his (apparently) suicidal attack on the Sword of Sacrilege.

It's more than likely "Alpharius" wasn't the one killed by Dorn.

That would make the order of disappearance something like this:
014.M31 Siege of Terra
015.M31 Corax disappears into the EoT in a 1-man ship
015.M31 Johnson vanishes during the destruction of Caliban not long after the Siege of Terra (however long the Warp translation to Caliban took).
084.M31 Jaghati Khan lost in the Maelstrom pursuing Dark Eldar Corsairs.
121.M31 Guilliman fatally wounded by Fulgrim at the Battle of Thessala.
211.M31 Russ vanishes on the 197th anniversary of the Emperor's Ascension.
781.M31 Dorn is lost and presumed killed in an attack on the Chaos Battleship, Sword of Sacrilege.
544.M32 Last sighting of Vulkan during the Battle of the Beast.

I always thought that the Caliban incident happened either later than or during the Scouring, not immediately after Terra

We also know that Johnson didn't disappear, per se. He's just napping in the basement of the Dark Angels fortress, fully healed and waiting (presumably for GW to finish a plastic model) to wake up.

Sadly it was, as the IMPFIST superfan author of that book had Omegon 'remove all doubt'.
(Unless Alpharius could somehow mask his existence from his twin?!?)
Anyway, since Omegon is Alpharius anyway, and took over as Alpharius, Alpharius is (potentially) still around.
Maybe.

yeah because the possiability of a *gasp* traitor primarch dying is just impossiable right?! Alp[harius was the smallest of the Primarchs, physically the weakest. he died perfectly. eventually all the plots in the world won't do you any good and you need to stand and fight

It isn't that Alpharius died, it's HOW it was done thanks to an Imperial Fists fanboy.

Yup, I am not a follower of either Legion particularly but I had enjoyed the book up until that point. It was like an ugly accident at the end of a good book and didn't fit with the greater narrative of the HH novels.

Plus it really doesn't 'fit' at all.
But at least we've still got Omegon Alpharius!
