I just recently bought a Bolt Action german Tank War set (3 Tigers, 3 Panthers), but I'm not so sure that Tank War will scratch my itch for a tank on tank battle game. Is anyone here familiar enough with Tank war to give their opinion on the game and/or possibly recommend a good 28mm tank combat game that both handles the nuances of tank guns vs. armor levels without getting too bogged down in detail (Light/Medium/Heavy AT gun vs. Armor 8,9,10 just doesn't quite appeal to me).

For reference, I also own TANKS, but I don't think that game will scale well to 28mm.

It never ends well

Hi,

Tanks scales surprisingly well to 28mm. Being nearly double the scale it is intended for works nicely, double the length of the movement stick and play length ways on a 6X4 board it's ok. only piece of advice is not to go above 100pts or the table gets too crowded.

Thanks,
Knight
