I've been hearing rumors that the Primarch of the Blood Angels, Sanguinius might return in the 42nd Millenium and I here is my reaction if those rumors are true...why? Don't get me wrong I like the Blood Angels and Sanguinius is a pretty cool character. But there's the fact that he is DEAD. I mean seriously Every other Loyalist Primarch (except Lion El'Johnson, Gulliman, and Ferrus Manus) are implied to be dead and hinted to even be alive, Sanguinius one the other hand was always confirmed to be dead and had absolutely no hint of him returning until this rumor. I know Games workshop has made some pretty stupid decisions regarding the lore, but Sanguinius's death was a very significant and emotional one and an important factor with the Modern Blood Angels. So if they wanted to bring back another loyalist Primarch why not someone who It has highly been hinted that could return such as Lion El'Johnson who is confirmed to be still alive or Vulkan who is a damn Perpetual. I could Be wrong, the rumors could Be wrong, I just don't want the lore to be more screwed than it was with Matt Ward (or worse C.S. Goto)... Blood Angels are still cool either way.

The only rumour I heard was his body was in stasis. As in preserving his corpse. But then that was Girlyman too...

I want him to come back sensibly. Although out loud that sounds veeeeeery silly.

GW never said he was coming back. There's no rumours at all. It's all "the sky is falling!" panic with nothing to support it.

People hear "stasis" and assume it's the same situation Guilliman was in. It wasn't - and that's been canon for a long time. Guilliman was put in stasis when he was moments FROM death. He wasn't dead at all, and some people even supposed the stasis was healing him (of course, that didn't bring him back). Sanguinius was dead BEFORE they put him in stasis in the Golden Sarcophagus - like Lenin's Tomb, if it wasn't open to the public.

Being in stasis =/= alive in stasis.
There's no reason to believe he's alive, with everything we've seen.

People are reading into 'hints' from Ruinstorm and Devastation of Baal.

There is no reason that the trixiy avatar of death eldar couldn't bring him back though.

so ultimately its kinda eh situation it could happen and it scares some people.

i really hope they do something interesting and unique with the rest if they do go the revive route.
