Although it is a really nice sprue the Escher kit only comes with a couple of autoguns and autopistols. Since it is pretty tempting to try running a 5 girl gun team I was wondering what people's thoughts were on getting autogun/pistol bits for them from elsewhere.

I think if you keep to GW parts you are limited to carving them off of DV cultists?

We'll find out soon enough eh.

Until the FW weapon packs come out, your best bet for Escher would more likely be GSC Neophytes, which has IIRC 7 Autoguns on the sprue(and the same number of Shotguns). You only get one autopistol I think, the best source of those would be GSC Acolytes as they have five in a box - I'd bitz order the pistols in any case since the Acolyte bitz are less useful in general outside of GSC.

The Cultist autos I think will actually be better for Goliath conversions as I believe they're slightly chunkier - I saw someone use one in combination with Stubcannon arms and the left hand from a Catachan lasgunner to good effect.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

Oh, handy tip about the Neophytes. I didn't realise they had autoguns.

I would definitely grab some from Anvil Industries Regiments range, either AR-15's or AK-47's
