Hello all! I'm participating in a team and duo tournament next year, it'll be my first large competitive event! So naturally I want to bring my A game. After much studying and thinking about what I'd have fun playing (while still being a strong list), I've come up with the following. Please let me know your thoughts, where weaknesses lie, if I'm missing anything, etc. The tournaments also use different detachments than normal, hence why it might look a little strange. One thing to note is the combined army of all players can only have 1 LoW, so no Mortarion/Magnus together shenanigans. I'm still expecting to see plenty of them on the battlefield, though. This list is obviously less focused on troops, something my ally is bringing plenty of.

Think about giving the commander 3 Cyclic Ion Blasters, they are much better than burst canons. But you have to think how to find points for them

Yeah, my original commander was 3 CiB’s but there’s just not the points. Might be worth it to drop a Y’Vahra for a ghostkeel and the CiB’s, but idk.
