Im getting back into AOS after quitting it twice now. Group is really making an effort in my FLGS to get people playing regularly and people are committing to a Escalation Campaign.

Kind of curious on what the faction standings seem to be right now on the completive scene. (Stromcast, Ironjawz, bloodbound, etc)

Stormcast and Tzeentch have stayed strong, Seraphon are extremely strong (to the point where I would be wary of a nerf), and there's a smattering of specific army builds from other factions that work.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

I'll be honest, I don' rate seraphon. We're several months in and they have not managed to hit top tier.

Stormcast and Tzeencth remain up there. Murderhosts are in. And fyreslayers were the big BIG winner. Sylvaneth Gnarlroot remains good. And Kharadrons, surprisingly, have been doing well. At least in the hands of a few maverick players.

Really suprised to hear Overlords doing well in the tournament scene, just read they ranked top 5 in the U.S tournament. Anyone know what type of list is used, now that you can't spam Mortars and khemists?

Bonesplitters are doing pretty good in my area, Kunin rukk with arrow boys is still very good.

Its essentially a couple of chemists, three min battleline, ironclad and then as many balloon guys as points allow. Something like 21 of them I believe, and they use the Zilfin (deep strike one). It is a very strong alpha strike force, the issue with it is if they don't blow you away turn one then they can really suffer if they don't get the double turn. Personally though it's just nice seeing skydwarfs on the table

Kharadrons are very rewarding to a skilled player, and have an edge in that random initiative favors shooting armies.
