Hi guys, Im trying to decide on how to base my ‘nids. Any ideas on a “out of the ordinary” way to base them? I’m thinking maybe a combination of pools(water effects) and aquarium plants, kind of like a jungle theme.

aquarium plants are always a cheap way to add color

For pool effects it’s best to use a thick layer of PVA glue, then dot super glue into it while it’s wet. It partially dissolves it and leaves cool digestion effects. Then let dry and paint as normal.
For plants (if you can’t find any aquarium plants you like) go for GW barbed bracken. It got recommended to me recently and it’s amazing. You get enough for loads of bases and it definitely looks alien. (Plus it’s easy to use and you can paint it how you like!)
