14 Command Points (+2 for Abaddon)
8 Deployed Units, 8 Reserve

Infiltrate Cultists as close as is safe towards enemy lines, Nurglings too, T1 drop chars and Dreadclaw with Poxwalkers and DP's move up board. Its got 9 CP left after Gifts of Chaos and Decay and 3 Forward Operative strats for all the good stuff. With psychic and relics the DP's can be quite good, the idea of the list is to provide no targets for the big guns and overwhelm the small arms. 166 Bodies starting and supplimented by The Dead Walk Again and Tide of Traitors and its up in the enemy's face T1 or T2. Don't know if the 2 CP for the relics are worth it but the list has so many CPs. Only 5 units start in my deployment zone and 3 of them can move 12" plus advance to catch up. What do ya think, keep in mind this is for competitive play and I know its no fun for an unprepared opponent. I'm thinking with all the CP it may be worth it to try and fit in 3 Slaanesh Oblits somewhere?

I don't think he cares about a legion trait on a single DP and a single character.

That relic on the IW DP is good, though.

That's a lot of bubble wrap.

I'm thinking about a similar list. My idea was the Dreadclaw too.
Do you include Abbadon mostly for the fearless bubble?
Did you play the list?

But in the end, is it better than horrors of tzeentch spam?
Just some thoughts :
You pay 782 points for 150 bodies. But for 690pts, you can have a full spliting horror unit with 4++ which is also 150 bodies. The tactical possibilities of this splitting rule have made daemon a top tier army (for example, you can engage enemy units, preventing them from shooting if they have not yet). And you can have 30 additional brimstones with the point difference, for a total of 180 models.
I understand that you won't lose models since they will come back as poxwalkers, but horrors are at least 50% more resilient with their 4++, so we are comparing 150 resurrecting models with 270 daemon models (factoring the 4++). (You have feel no pain, but against multi-damage weapons feel no pain amounts to almost no save). You need to resurrect at least 120 models to make it equal.
With an expensive (and slow) Typhus, you have T4, but it doesn't make a big difference : horrors are still more resilient. Instead of Typhus, the horrors even benefit from the changeling : -1 to hit is huge. Horrors becomes at least twice as difficult to kill than the cultists, even than the pox walkers in many circumstances.
You have board control though (which can be a big deal), because your cultists can infiltrate and past a certain point you won't need command points while the horrors need them for morale. But one could just spam brimstones without the splitting. At that price, it's 260 models, 400 when factoring their resilience.
(This only proves that horrors are the best troop choice in the game...)
I would like to build the zombie list (as I called it), but the horror list is better I think, though I would happily be convinced otherwise if you prove me wrong!

But let's try now.
None of your characters can be targeted, that's strong. But the tzeench list too, with exalted flamers and heralds.
The zombie list is more fun, that's for sure!
Your poxwalker unit will be bigger than any horror unit (which can be 60 max after the pink split in blue). It means any benefit you have will be maximized, for example psychic powers. As a matter of fact, you can benefit from better spells than the horrors. -1 hit to hit spell (like the changeling!), +1 to hit in close combat, +1S&T, stratagem +1 to wound, moving twice, typhus nurgle's gift, etc. These work well for the poxwalker damage output, while the horrors will do nothing noteworthy. (I just realized Abaddon can heal d3 wound with a 2 cp stratagem, not bad!)

In tourneys you could expect a time limit for your turns and if you have run out of time, you will loose.
This is at least the case with WMH steamroller tourneys.
So a very large model count might not help you. Learn to play with tactics.
