I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase tiles that are similar to those that were released in the planetary Empires expansion a while back as me and my friends are looking to play a campaign.

I'm in the same boat as you. I need another set and can't find them anywhere except ebay and very overpriced at that. I haven't tried asking for them in the dakka swap shop yet. You could try there.

I could've swore that GW was still selling the planetary empires kit on their website just a couple of months ago, i was considering getting some myself but just didn't at the time.

The weirdest thing is that they still sell the hive city tile upgrade, perhaps they've temporarily suspended production whilst they get their energy problem sorted out but i guess more likely it's that they were selling left over stock.

The best outcome would be that they've pulled them from sale to rebox and resell them with 8th edition rules.
