I recently purchased the December WD and took a look through the card pack that came with the magazine. I thought the cards were exclusive but I noticed the Shadespire card is included in the base game.... whats the point in including it with the magazine. Are the other cards for Blood Bowl and Warhammer Quest exclusive or also included with the base game?

The cards are all exclusive. Thing is, Shadespire's exclusiveness derives solely from being an alternative art.

Make it cool, but don’t screw over people who didn’t get it/can’t get it later. I approve. Blood Bowl has the cards being much less important so it’s more alright there for it to be a unique one.

It gives you a slight benefit in that you can construct three decks with a Healing Potion card simultaneously, instead of two. That's it.
