So, I'm whipping up some nob bikers based on deffkoptas, which are going pretty well.

I was thinking about supplementing it with the forge world nob bikers (https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-NO/Ork-Nob-Warbikes) , if only to make my work a little easier, but in all honesty I'm not too happy with how they look. They look like just a somewhat half-assed upgrade sprue for warbikers.

So, 2 part question for anyone who has them:

1) Does the FW nob biker kit come with a warbiker sprue? It looks like it uses warbiker parts, so I assume that it must, and if so, it would lessen the sting of the price a bit.

2) Are you happy with the nob biker bits? My biggest issue is that they don't seem to come with any melee weapons, which is the whole point of bringing nobz. I've got plenty, but even so, seems a shame to have to cut up FW resin right out of the box.

If anyone's interested, this is what I'm working on:

Not sure about FW, i typically dont want to pay the cost. Love the bike though, I am thinking of doing some Nobz and convert them to get some Warboss and painboy etc....

Saw a youtube vid where the guys just took a NoB biker kit and coverted it with extra bits. You might be able to pick up some melee weapon bits on ebay for a few bucks, cheaper that way.

Where did you get your plasticard?!?!?!? WHat other bits, greeblies do you find are useful for orky conversions.

I get my plasticard from a local hobbytown - you can buy it online from amazon too, but it's nice to be able to fit pieces into each other personally.

Green stuff is good to fill in gaps.

For the rivets, I like my green stuff rivet mold: http://www.greenstuffworld.com/en/inicio/348-2x-rivets-rubber-molds.html

Lastly, the best, most useful tool you'll ever get for kustom jobz is a razor saw. They're like $10. Make nice, neat, clean cuts in this plastic easily. Much better than a dremel or even a sharp xcacto. I mean, xcato knives are great, but not for, say, cutting deffkoptas down to size.

I got a bunch of lego wheels, which was pretty cheap, but I honestly found myself buying a bunch of trukk tires off ebay.
