More Cold War is always good, would just be happy to get my hands on some stripes gear.

This Is Where the Fish Lives

I'm pretty excited about the Italians for FoW mid war, even though I don't play Axis.

And some, I assume, are good people."

Some nice goodies coming in the new year. We have any guesses on th NATO book? I’m thinking late summer since it will likely be Italy -> ‘Nam -> British -> maybe NATO but that’s pure speculation based on 2 months a release cycle. Trying to plot out my additions to the grey/green plastic hordes in 2018.

Random note on that; the green plastic on the Pattons and Humvee are right in the range of my color-blindness. Under soft white lights they’re grey, but under daylight bulbs (what I have in the shop lights at my painting table) they’re green. I’ve been way too fascinated by that.

The thing I'm most interested in are the new Italian MW releases. I had a modest Bersaglieri company from v2 so I've already preordered some of the new releases to build out that force. I could combine these with the DAK army I've already started. The 2nd British book is also on my radar, along with the new plastic Churchill models.

I'm waiting to see what comes out for the two MW eastern front books. Not really interested in the Soviets, but I'm curious to see what they include for the Germans.

The recent Stripes release for TY was a nice addition to the American options. I had originally decded I was only going to build a British force, to have at least one army to use in our local TY league but the Stripes book has some tempting lists. I'm also looking forward to seeing what they do with the French in the upcoming NATO book. The French fielded a lot of unique equipment and if the book includes enough of that I'm might just have to build a French force, too.

Finally, I'm interested in seeing what the new 'Nam book looks like. I didn't play the original release, but there are are a few people in my local club who did so if the new book looks interesting I may jump on that wagon, too.

I was really disappointed that there was no mention of the promised MW Paratroopers book. Battlefront posted a while ago that they were going to release such a book for MW but that was months ago, and nothing since. I'm also wondering what happened to the "Wild Card" releases? Last year they said the first one (Dianas and DAK with Russian AT guns) was coming in 2017, but then... nothing.
