Gold coins aren't always filled with chocolate!
Warhammer World now has a collectable coin machine, with two different designs to choose from, and more to come. This morning we had the staff keen to get theirs, and the first customers in were excited to be among the first to take coins home.
Perfect for objective markers, or just a small souvenir of your visit.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Not until they release a "Visitors' Compendium" book in a year's time so people know the actual value of each coin.

Huh. Are souvenir coins like this a thing in the UK/Europe? Over here in the US, we usually have souvenir pressed penny machines, instead.

Maybe not right now... but think about this. In 25 years it will be the equivalent of Rogue Trader collectibles

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

They already did at Black Library Weekender, 2012 I think was the year. You had to spend over £250 to get one, they occasionally crop up on eBay and go all over the place price wise - lowest I've seen was £50, highest nearly £150. These at Warhammer World are £2 each, card payment onky, I guess it's not pressed coin machine because so many people don't carry cash these days ?

Yeah, "more to come" sounds hopeful on that front.
A golden Stormcast coin would be a missed opportunity.
Though silver Silver Tower coins would be great too.

We have those in Europe as well. Coins and pressed pennies can exist alongside each other I guess.

England has loads of penny souvenir machines. I saw that one at whw last week, those coins are more like the size of medals.
