Heard that there was a lawsuit between Hasbro and FFG, and the settlement was to stop all production of FFG's Imperial Assault.

There are no re-prints or anything for Imperial Assault on the Upcoming tab for the game. It seems I cant find any official news about it either just hear-say.

Has anyone heard anything else?

I have not heard that anywhere but it wouldn't surprise me if they just stop supporting it to focus on Star Wars Legion..

You don't want games that are very close to each other to compete with themselves. Plus I feel Imperial Assault is at the end
of its run.. Not many figures they could release for it.. or could just instead release for Legion.

Would love to know the details of the lawsuit if there is one.. Crazy how all that works, we can sue you for a game we don't produce anymore for a licences we no longer have.

Yeah a FLGS is putting their stuff on sale saying get them while they last, after further questioning was told about the lawsuit.

I dont think its 100% true because they just released the companion app.

If they never released another supplement for IA, that'd be fine - there's enough content there to play for the foreseeable future, and it might mean what's already released stays in production, rather than being available every seventh Wednesday.

Does anyone have any reference to this supposed lawsuit?

Found this from Jan 2017 about licensing between Hasbro and FFG on the FFG community forums.

FFG just released the Legends Ap for IA, which I can't imagine they would bother with of they just lost the license.

Not to mention all the other IA expansion packs they released since that supposed issue with Hasbro.

FFG drops range for the new hotness isn't a surprise, be interesting to see what happens to the OP programme
