So i got Magnus for Christmas and decided to paint him differently. i appreciate any suggestions to touch him up with or just criticism as it allows me to know my mistakes and how to avoid them next time. here's the link https://imgur.com/a/je8iE

I like the blue. I think the top/back of the wings look better than the front. you have a big splotch of white (maybe from drybrushing). I would try to clean tup.
Put some edge highlights on to make it pop.
For your green flame, I would try some highlighting and washing to get some contrast.

Yeah the wings aren't finished yet, and with the flame i have no brighter green so i will have to wash it with nuln oil then highlight it. thanks for the ideas. the wings are done by starting them with macragge blue then heavily dry brushing wrack white on them then guilliman blue glaze on them to give them a brighter blue look to them but they need more coats of the glaze

Too much blue.

The wings need to be a different colour entirely from the skin. It just looks like you sprayed it blue and touched up a few places with paint. That's just what it looks like to me. Way tooo blue.

That's near enough what i did, i think it will look better once i finish painting him and doing all the highlights. and with the haair i thought it would look cool if it was 2 colours which is why there is still blue in it
