Subject: Astrogranite Debris Help

Hello all, I recently got the Astrogranite Debris texture paint, and I know how to apply it and use it properly, and even though I stirred it, the sand still flakes off. My minis are already based with it, and I really hate it flaking, especially because I use foam to carry my my minis. How should I prevent it from flaking, even though it is already applied? Should I maybe use ‘Ardcoat to seal it on? (‘Ardcoat is a varnish.)
Edit: I tried using a spray on varnish and it still flakes. Ideas?

elmers (pva) glue.

Will it make it look shiny? I want it to look the same, dull color.

Well Ardcoat is going to make it shiny as feth. Spray a matte varnish after or use a brush on one.

Sorry, I don’t normally use varnishes or sealers, but the PVA glue dries without shine, and the other option is a varnish? Automatically Appended Next Post: Lance845 wrote:Well Ardcoat is going to make it shiny as feth. Spray a matte varnish after or use a brush on one.

I don't know about the shine of the PVA glue. I Ushally apply my basing and seal with it, then paint and top coat with a matte clear coat from a can.
Ardcoat is a clear coat gloss.
Other companys make matte clear coats you can brush on if you want.
I personally use a can of spray clear coat on all my models to protect them.
