Hello everyone in the great Dakka forums! I'm a long time conversion artist, as well as a commission painter in the quite cold state of Alaska. This is however my first time posting progress of one of my great machines.

Let's get down to business then, I've rocked the ork army for a little over 10 years now... damn close to 14 all told. When I first started into the 40k hobby I remember seeing this box on the shelf, with huge walking mechs clobbering each other... has stuck in my memory all this time and now I'm going to make the ork half of that carnage. I plan on posting up frequently as I add the mountain of detail needed to make this project great.

Let's start with the basic plans then! This Mega Gargant is going to be at least 6 stories tall in game.... the hull anyway. I plan on using two sets of plastic drawers as the base to build onto, eventually making it viable to have a full scale battle within the beast itself.

More bit's for the bits god! Churned out a few commissions, and got the epic gargant sized shokk attack gun feed and arm started..... I both love and hate the ugly duckling stages like this. It's in one hand great to keep track of the steps, but also kind of embarrassing to see your creation naked and unfinished. This one is going to be a bit of a picture dump, as I'd like to show off my deff skwadron as well as give you some progress.

Thanks! I've wanted an ork game table for a long time! Was always inspired by the ork kill krooza table. Now I have my own and it's fantastic. Currently ever so slowly painting and finishing the interior. Hope it is have it done and playable for the ork release at my flgs
