I've just started a death guard army and am wanting a daemon prince to lead it. I was just wondering if there were any rumours of a new model? I can find the one on the GW website but the model is 10 years old. https://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Chaos-Space-Marines-Nurgle-Daemon-Prince

They seem to be bringing out a fair few daemon models, any suggestion of a new Prince?

You can always do what they've done in the DG codex and use a plague drone head on your normal daemon prince.

I'd just pick up a regular daemon prince, some green stuff, your collection of used sprues and convert your own Nurgle Daemon Prince. You'll be able to make it look how you want it to look and it will be more personal if you made it.

Why does the mini's age matter? That thing is still a great model today and will be tomorrow. If the plastic DP is anything to go by its theoretical replacement will look gak.

I have no pictures here but I used the following elements:

- Daemon prince plastic, body arms and legs
- Plague drone body, fused with the bove
- Plague drone wings
- Fantasy ogre weapons, the spikier and rustier ones
- Chaos spawn fly head
- Tubes, cables and similar mech bits
- Green stuff

To build my own Prince. I think you can google plenty of people doing the same thing. Ebay is your friend, if you are patient.
Also, the model linked is actually very good.

I converted my own using the giant snail guy from AOS (now being sold seperately according to the Warhammer Community sight (also a new demon prince of nurgle listed here https://www.warhammer-community.com/2018/01/04/faction-focus-daemons-nurglegw-homepage-post-4/

Out of curiosity... is the Count from Berserk in any way an inspiration for the model?

The old Nurgle DP works with bits from the regular DP btw...

I totally stole the wings from one and put it on the nurgle model.

@ Kaiyanwang: I actually am lost on the Berserk/ Count reference, so I guess not? Maybe I'm too old... I was inspired simply by the snail model, and I was sculpting my own femal Ogrynns at the time, so it seemed an obvious mix.
