Hey what are the restrictions for heroes and weapons in their profile? The descriptions are somewhat ambiguous.

Take for instance, the following unit

Order Draconis - Dragon Noble

Can he take a Phoenix banner AND a weapon? According to the warscroll builder, the answer is NO. However, I've seen an array of lists that would argue otherwise.

All the warscroll says is... "Occasionally, the Dragon Noble will have the honour of carrying a Phoenix Banner."

Another example:

Swifthawk Agents - Skywarden

"...is equipped with an Ithilmar Blade and an Enchanted Shield. Some skywardens also wield a Zephyr Trident (this wording means optional?), while others carry a Swifthawk Pennant. (This option would replace all of his weapons?)

Sorry if my question seems convoluted, I just want to make sure that I'm writing my list legally for a matched play game.

Its a load out -either Blade/shield, trident, or pennant.

if it helps at all I usually slap a pennant on my dragon noble to act as the "banner" attached to his "lance", which he pairs with a shield. The easiest conversion by far is to use the lance with the massive banner attachment from the Prince on Dragon box since the lance arm fits 90% of all other elf unit's right shoulder locations.

In short, for the noble you can take any weapon, a shield, and the banner, just as long as its somewhere on the model.
