Okay, what if, when a thread owner posts in their own thread, there were a text entry box for OP suffix?

And, when the forum displays images, they default to the size scaled to fit the normal page, but have a little icon you can click to display at full size?

For instance, when posting a Helbrute in your 31 page army blog, you could add 'Helbrute 13/1' as a suffix, so in people's subscribed threads they'll see "DakkaKid's Death Guard / Helbrute 13/1"

And you could drop the full sized images into your post, and they won't make the text format into really wide lines that don't work on a mobile phone, and won't need to also add HD images and add a spoiler tag around them

Probably work

You can do the first part by editing the first post subject. It should update the title.

I think there are some ways to mess with the scaling of pictures, but it's non-obvious. Improvements on that system might be nice.

The suffix idea is a nice one, both ideas are good. It might take a long time to implement but I've added them to the list.

Yes, it is possible to workaround, what I’m suggesting is integration as a quick and easy design feature rather than an incidental outcome with a workflow of many clicks and page loads.

Clicking edit on the first post will let you edit just the title - it isn't a lot of clicks or a workaround - it just works!
