What about trying to get battalion?

Also, how do these Hyperios perform? On paper they don't look THAT appealing.

Their damage output is pretty good for a cheap tank average of 4 shots each that are basically mini krak missiles. Also I needed 2 more heavy choices due to the relic rule on the leviathans. The list takes a little getting use to, I played very aggresivly my first game against a walking dead list (death guard pox walker/cultist spam) It was a very close loss 23/25 with the new ITC pkg. I made a few mistakes that cost me the game.

second game was against a vet BA player he played a death company heavy list that was 100% alpha strike w/ heavy cc hitting charas. This game i played more reserved and really messed him up with blocking him out of optimal DS zones. won 20/11 .

Overall I think this list packs a wollop w/ 40 Storm cannon shots rr and a fireraptor. Tiggy buffs the raptor turn 1 with Prescience and one Leviathan w/ might of heroes. Its not for everyone, it will struggle Against certain builds, I have a little over a month to prep and tweak.

why even take the scouts? Take IG infantry instead.

You could have 2 company commanders and 50 infantry for the cost of those 20 scouts.

Ill Definetly take a look. The only reason I took the scouts over anything is their ability to infiltrate.. I find that its a tactical advantage to be able to be drop anywhere on the board.

I thought Concealed Positions still had to be 9” a away from the enemy deployment zone? Not anywhere on the board correct?

Yeah that isn't what he meant anyways. It can assist with screening esp when your main threat (2 leviathans) has 24" range. You don't want to have to start those to far off your front line.

You can infiltrate out of your deployment zone to screen better. However - killing 20 scouts is super easy. Killing 50 Guardsmen is not.

Yes that is correct. Sorry should have been more specific.

Yes Xeno your right 20 scouts is kind of risky.. I am taking a big risk if I cant find cover for them to hug or hide behind.

Suggest consider get a Techmarine in the list as well. 57pts and he can keep your Dread and Whirlwind functioning longer (i.e. at their better conditon longer)

Im not worried about my Whirlwinds and Dreads they can take a beating also whirlwinds will be almost always obscured or in cover out of sight. Tiggy gives me alot of options with Guilly bubble. So far im W3-L1-D-0 .. Hopefully I can squeeze a game in this weekend to try out guardsman as mentioned earlier.
