Have you thought about taking your FG system to the distant future? Not necessarily space wizards but a scifi skirmish system?

Frostgrave 40k, Space grave, Frostgrave the Next Generation, ok all done. I wouldn't mind seeing this either, because wtfn?

I haven't read it yet, but the second issue of his SpellCaster magazine has rules for using the Frostgrave rules for mecha. You might want to check that out. I think the magazine is like $6 from DrivethruRPG

Another vote for sci-fantasy grave.

Our group was talking about how you could make it so ranged weaponry (which would likely be more abundant and/or more deadly) could be factored in.

The first thing we thought was to just require shooting to be vs. the move stat as a stat check (Ghost Archipelago has stat checks). It could totally work while making decent sense (slower guys are easier to hit) without having to add a single new mechanic.

Bring on the sci-fi version! By the time it releases we should be caught up with FG and halfway through Ghost Archipelago
