So, I'm probably reading way too much in to the wording of this but for the exalted deathbringer with impaling spear, would his brutal impalement ability fall under the third rule of one as in cannot continue to cause wounds even though it is stated as such? I've had this question come up a few times and have been unable to find a direct answer from GW on this and would really appreciate if someone could provide a link on this before I go in to a tournament setting and make a complete butt out of myself lol. Thanks ahead of time!

"Any extra attacks, hit rolls or wound rolls gained by the use of an ability cannot themselves generate
extra attacks, hit rolls or wound rolls. For example, the extra hit roll generated by a Ripperdactyl Rider’s Voracious Appetite
ability could not also generate further hit rolls."

"Brutal Impalement: Those caught on the end of
an Impaling Spear will suffer an agonising death.
Roll a dice when an enemy Hero is wounded
by an Impaling Spear but not slain; on a 1, 2 or
3 nothing happens, but on a 4, 5 or 6 the Hero
suffers a mortal wound as their own weight forces
them further down the length of the weapon’s haft.
Continue to repeat this process until you either
fail to inflict a mortal wound or the enemy Hero
is slain. "

You are neither getting extra attacks, rolling additional to hit rolls or rolling additional to wound rolls with this ability. The generation of additional mortal wound is not itself a to wound roll. Therefore it would be unaffected by the 3rd rule of 1
