Idea for this list is to get as much high versatility flamers I can into play. Drops Pinks as necessary to clear chaff with flickering fires casts if needed. It seems like this list will have little trouble dealing with high wound models, but my concern is extremes. What says the hive mind?

I don't have much experience with either, but on paper I dont see the appeal of Chariots when you could take more exalted flamers and invest the points saved into more chaff for them to hide behind. Although they do have a decent punch in melee so having them as a counter charge unit could be handy. I dunno just seems like they'll be the first thing to eat any long range AT you'll be facing as the LoC is too tanky with too little damage output to warrant shooting at as long as there's a much squishier target.

I have trouble making the LoC worthwhile. For the points, I'd rather have another DPOC

The more I look at it, the more I like this list. More chaff would be good, but I'm not sure what I'd lose to get it. I think the LoC is actually quite important, as long as it gets in your opponent's face, he'll have to deal with it before the squishy characters can be targeted.

Would be nice to have at least a unit of 6 regular flamers to DS, more reliable than the Pinkies, especially against targets with good saves or to-hit modifiers.

I get wanting to use the LOC as I have a nice one myself I would love to see some action. If you are looking for a more competitive option I would say drop him and one exalted and add Magnus (even without the DS strat he is better in every way).

You could roll the spearhead up into the battalion to free up a detachment.
