Battalion detachment : Stygies Vlll

3 x 5 Rangers - 3 galvanic rifles, 2 transuranic arquebus
3 x 5 infiltrators - flechette blaster,taser goads

2 x dunecrawler - Icarus array, heavy stubber

Spearhead detachment : Mars

Belisarius crawl

2 x dunecrawler - neutron laser, 2 heavy stubber each
4 x kastelan robots - heavy phosphor blasters

Idea is to use the infiltrators to help get some hard to reach objectives or clear chaff. Rest will be pretty standard gun line. Not sure how it will work need as much critique as possible to make it as effective as possible.

I'd put the infiltrators into the mars detachment and take a unit of 10. Wrath of mars on them is no joke, with 50 shots. The -1 to hit for them won't make them any more survivable as their range is 12". The -1 to hit is only for units greater than 12" away.

Makes sense thanks little things like that I missed, i havent played any games yet but I'm borrowing friends army this week and plan on buying it aswell.

Any other changes needed?

Not any other major suggestions, the typical cookie cutter list would have dragoons in the stygies battalion. The infiltration stratagem on them is really good. Four onagers is probably more than enough and you lack a bit of close combat punch.5 dragoons is always good.

Maybe consider putting the two icarus array dune crawlers into your mars detachment? That way you can maximise the amount of shots you can rereoll for misses, it makes them more viable as anti horde cover
