Noticed this hadn't been shared here. I had a chance to take a look at this stuff in person at PAX Unplugged. It was very sturdy and looked great. Folks were playing Necromunda and Shadow War on it all weekend.

Looks pretty cool... shame it's not EU friendly :(.

It sounds pretty good but I have a horrible feeling they won't be able to keep to the lower European shipping costs and it will end up being Iceland/Greece prices for everybody (i'm guessing they're planning to use Ship Naked based on the country price brackets as they look just like those given to Wander: Cult of Barnacle Bay, and their shipping estimates proved wrong in a big way for a bunch of folk)

•EUROPE: $15-$30 to most countries.
•$35 to Norway, Finland, Estland, Lettland, and Latvia.
•$40 to Bosnia/Herzegovina, Croatia, and Serbia.
•$55 to Bulgaria, Lithuania, and Romania.
•$60 to Iceland and Israel.
•$70 to Greece and Turkey.

because if I did then even factoring in VAT & customs collection charges it's pretty good for pre-coloured stuff

if you're in the US it sounds great value if you like the look of the actual stuff

I love that the edges are black even after it's punched out, that helps a lot! Would love to see more chunky things like that shipping crate in the future - particularly buildings.

They say it's EU-friendly now but is it too late to save the campaign?

I can't believe I didn't see this earlier to be honest. I'm really impressed with the product and it has some really reputable names endorsing it. This is a perfect product for a space conscientious gamer who wants to spend what little free time they have to paint, painting their minis (AKA me). It looks like it disassembles into a really small footprint, which I love, and it looks pretty darn nice.

With this and Deadbolt's Derelict from Death Ray, I should be all set for my Necromunda needs.

Looks nice, but there is quite a bit of platformer style terrain out there, it could use more LoS blockers.

If they can get as far as unlocking the variant skins (the Abandoned looks more suited to Necromunda than the current theme) then I think I will be in for two sets (2 looks to be enough for Necromunda) now that they have become EU friendly. That addon looks good as well to add lots of variation and two base sets along with the addon would make a nice Necromunda board.

I guess this means that Warroom updates will take even LONGER now?

Goal has now been reached. They are also looking to move the (much larger than I realised) grav train depot thing to an immediately available addon.

Hey all, this is Lane from TinkerTurf (and also from TinkerHouse Games, War Room is my baby for all it's warts and triumphs).

Let me know if anyone has any questions here. We're thrilled to be funded and really excited to hopefully get that MagLev Rail Depot to you guys as well.

Quick up date as coming up to the 2 day remaining mark and a reminder that this project is now EU friendly!

The MagLev rail depot is now available as a separate pledge level or addon. Here is a quick pic of the size of the main set for scale along with list of contents -

and here it is setup for a game -

Stretch goals have now been reached so there are 3 alternate designs -

and the original design for quick comparison -

I am thinking that the Abandoned style mixed with the default style should be a good fit for Necromunda along side a mag rail for a centre piece (hoping for a different design to be unlocked to dirty it up a little). That neutral zone is tempting as well though for extra variation and would make a good Batcave..

This is what two base sets (without stretch goals) can build -

So far additional stretch goals for an extra container and 6 extra cover pieces have been unlocked for each set purchased. The next goal for 2 extra tank traps and 3 crates should be unlocked within next few hours. Then it's on to 3 free catwalks and 2 free ladders.

There is a referral system in place so if a friend, etc has convinced you to pledge then giving them credit will help them out (see details in the special Referral pledge level)

Nice looking stuff. Too bad for me I'm KS shy after the whole Drop fleet commander FUBAR by Hawk Wargames! Maybe I'll try KS again if I ever get the rest of my DFC stuff.

Few bits to add.

First, a few more stretch goals are down -

Second, there is a preview of the Kickstarter they plan to run later in the year (once this terrain Kickstarter has been fulfilled). This terrain is still in the development stages so will be improved and fully.. coloured before release but is pretty impressive so far -

Which is made up of modular pieces that you can mix and match to make numerous variations and designs -

Thanks for posting this. This looks incredible for anyone getting into a skirmish game. Damn the price is good.

Late pledging for the industrial and mag-rail sets should open at some point today.

The buildings will be available on Kickstarter once the first Kickstarter has delivered (they are aiming for September).

The layering to give depth in an otherwise 2d printed surface is a nice touch.

I wonder how this stuff would do with a quick coat of varnish and some additional weathering, edge highlighting and so on. If this becomes a retail product in the future, I'll have to take a look after I see what people are doing with their kickstarter rewards.

Congrats on the successful funding.
