Subject: Methods of getting a "realistic" blood splatter?
I recently finished painting my IG tanks and wanted to add a bit of flourish to them. I figured mud on the tracks and blood on the dozer blade would give me my desired effect. However, I'm not entirely satisfied with how the "blood splatter" turned out on my first attempt. Has anyone found a good way to achieve the effect using Blood For The Blood God?

gives you the prefect stiffness and way to flick it at the area, just run your finger along it, within a bit of the area in question. Might want to start from further away and see how close you want to get, first.
What kind of blood spatter pattern event are you going for? Infantry standing in front of your tank getting shot or hit in cc by other infantry, or troops getting run over and smooshed by the tower blade. These 2 things will create different spatter patterns.
Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!
Good advice so far. I also like to add some water to make it a bit more runny and transparent to add patches of blood that is not quite as thick. Looks good if you want to have a "smeared blood" effect!

Both patterns. I'm trying to give my tanks a battle hardened look.
