Hey there!

Thinking about finally jumping in to 30K, with my all-time favorite legion... Blood Angels. Have a sizeable 40K collection of them, and I'm excited to step back in time to where it all began. Before I take the plunge, I was hoping to get some input on my initial list idea from some more seasoned 30K players. Thanks in advance for the help!

HQ:
Legion Praetor: Artificer Armor, Iron Halo, Blade of Perdition, Bolt Pistol, Jump Pack (165)
Command Squad w/ jump packs: 3x Chosen w/ chainsword and combat shield, 1x Chosen w/ power fist and combat shield, 1x Chosen Standard Bearer (240)

Troops:
3 x Tactical Squads:bolt pistol/chainsword, Sgt w/ power sword/bolt pistol, vexilla (630)
each squad has a Rhino w/ iliastus assault cannon, hunter killer missle

Elites:
2x Contemptor Dreadnoughts, kheres assault cannon, chainsfist w/meltagun (430)

Heavy Support:
1x Leviathan Siege Dreadnought, siege claw, cyclonic melta lance, armored ceramite (310)
1x Sicaran Battle Tank, accelerator autocannon, lascannons, armored ceramite (225)

Comes out to an even 2000. What do you guys think?

Not a bad list but it lacks enough ranged anti vehicle weapons or weapons strong enough to take out LOWs. The sicaran is good but only does about one wound to armor 14 and the lascanons are a bit hit and miss, personally I would trade the sicaran for a sicaran venator in order to have the long ranged anti tank as well as being able to make LOWs snapshot which is amazing against things like the typhon. The liviathan dreadnought is good but needs a drop pod as he is a big target and his melta doesn't give him enough range, I would suggest getting rid of a contemptor in order to compensate for the drop pod. Lastly put artificer armor and melta bombs on the Sargent's it is a life saver and allows you to take out a tank if needed. Finally consider changing the power swords on the Sargent's because a lot of people run artificer armor and are likely to challenge if you don't have an ap 2 weapon.

I tend to avoid ten-man Tactical squads in Rhinos; if you're trying to do mechanized infantry that way you're better off going for Pride of the Legion and putting Tactical Veterans in those Rhinos with upgrade guns.

Command Squad w/ jump packs: 2x chainsword/bolt pistol + combat shield, 1x power sword/bolt pistol + combat shield, 1x power fist/bolt pistol + combat shield, 1x standard bearer (250)

Troops:
3x Tactical Squads: 9 w/bolt pistol/chainsword, Sgt w/ artificer armor, melta bombs, power axe, bolt pistol (480)

Elites:
1x Contemptor Dreadnought: kheres assault cannon and chainfist w/ meltagun (215)

Heavy Support:
1x Leviathan Dreadnought w/ drop pod: siege claw w/ meltagun, cyclonic melta lance, armored ceramite
1x Sicaran Battle Tank: accelerator autocannon, lascannon sponsons, hunter killer missile, armored ceramite
1x Sicaran Venator Tank Destroyer: neutron beam laser, armored ceramite

Clocks in at 2000 points again. Obviously this list still loves combat, but we should have some more anti-tank, tacticals can foot slog up the field and hopefully contest objectives, while the Leviathan, Praetor/retinue, and Contemptor bring the pain to the enemy ASAP.

You can't put the void shield harness on the praetor as they were faq'd to only be used in campaigns I believe. Also you should decide if you want to use any rites of war as they will help determined parts of your army ( sorry for not mentioning these sooner ).
