Hello everybody, in the last year I have started collecting Warhammer 40k again mostly for the hobby of painting the models, but I'm hoping to find a local group I can wargame with.

In my youth back in the late 90's I collected an Ork army and a few space marine and Imperial Guard which have since been bootfair'd by parents 5 years ago! apparently attic space is at a premium, although not much of a loss most were the generic plastic kits and poorly painted by my teenage self that was unaware of thinning my paints

So starting afresh I'm currently collecting Space Marine Ultramarines , got a decent sized army ready to be built & painted but in the last year along with family life and work I've only managed to paint a 10 man tac squad finished last week, this time around I'm looking forward to a bit of kit bashing/customising and improving my painting, so I'm hoping to post a few pictures and get feedback.

Hi there, welcome to Dakka, and back to 40k.

Clubs are listed here:
https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/566137.page
Belvedere and Dartford are shown.

Get your pics on the Gallery, and we'll be able to point out things we might try on them.

As for Space Marines, there's quite a lot of choice in units these days. It sounds like you know what you want in your army, but post your lists in the lists forum for ways people would tweak it.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

Hello and welcome to Dakka!

Good luck with your Ultramarines, and I hope that you'll find a group to play with.
