Astral militarum battalion

2 company commanders
4 infantry squads
1 basilisk

Grey knights battalion
2 librarians with staves, storm bolters, astral aim, goi, and santcuary
3 strike squads no upgrades
2 stormravens with hurricane bolter upgrade
1 crusader with storm bolter upgrade
2 razor backs with assault cannons

So the idea is deep strike the strike squads on objectives, or hold for when the enemy hits my lines for storm bolter fire. The crusader, razorbacks, and basilisk castle up in a corner and use the guard squads to create two rings at 8 inch intervals to stall alpha strikes. The librarians deploy in the stormravens for straffing runs with goi and astral aim to keep up the firepower. Thoughts? I'm really struggling against hordes (tyranids and death guard) and looking to get past turn 3 :(

If you have the librarians in the storm ravens then they can't do anything at all. So no psychic abilities, no aurae or anything else.

How on Terra are you struggling with hordes??? This list is Anathema to hordes!

Yeah... That was the hope of this list. The list before this was different and lacked Flyers. I haven't tried it out yet, and the points increase from chapter approved make this over budget. I'm thinking of dropping the librarian and basilisk, and adding a Tech Marine. Then making a company Commander my Warlord with the Aquila and warlord trait Grand strategist. Should allow me to continuously pump out command points and regain some of them back.

The techmarine is way overpriced in a GK army.

If your meta is oriented in hordes army, I think you'll do well with this one. However against elite armies, you'll struggle. Maybe you should equip one of your Stormravens with anti-tank?
