Hey folks;

Long time lurker, first time poster

Thought I'd drop by and introduce myself.

I've been into GW now for many years and got my first introduction to wh40k via the original Rogue Trader manual. I have always collected Space Marines, since this was the faction which has always captured my imagination the most.

I've been out of the loop now for some years, and would like to get back into it again. I've got some stuff in the mixer at the moment. Nothing too ambitious. Just trying to create and seamlessly integrate BOTH missing SM Legions into 40k lore

Got some ideas, some fluff, 2x painted test minis, 2x completed Legion / chapter emblems, 2x missing primarch ideas, and some other stuff. Whether it's any good or not remains to be seen I'll start posting them as a WIP asap.

I also write 40k fiction. Or should I say, I *did*. I used to be on the Astronomican forum, and had a nice little collecton of fanfic going. Sadly, I didn't save it anywhere but on the forum, and, when it died (hacked to death, I believe), it all went. Doh.

It's great to be on a forum again, looking forward to posting up something meaningful!

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

Hello and welcome to the site.

I love my son and daughter. The avatar is of me and my daughter when she was very young. I miss her to death!

Interesting read, took me a moment to cotton onto them not being physically present when talking to each other, but then the use of the words made more sense

Ah...I must have fluffed some of the wording. They were speaking to one another in person, not (as I think you've interpreted it), psychically. I've edited it to make that clearer.

Janus is supposed to be rather unique and enigmatic. I was attempting to portray that in the prose. Both he and Darius will be fleshed out in time.

I'm still a little rusty in the fiction dept....when I find my stride, it'll improve
