Hello. I would like to know if anyone can post somewhere a tutorial on how to paint the Farseer Singing Spear in Crystal Blues like on the games-workshop.com website. If anyone can help this would be appreciated. Thank you.

I love my son and daughter. The avatar is of me and my daughter when she was very young. I miss her to death!

Here's Duncan doing a slightly greyer version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13uHHx3jCwA Doing this with a bluer base should give you the effect you're after.

A similar idea from The Visarch's sword: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACT-RNk2GkY

Hope this help!

Here's a tutorial that achieves a somewhat similar look: http://taleofpainters.blogspot.de/2012/02/tutorial-nmm-blue-force-weapons.html

Agreed. The op wasn't even asking about metallics.

Those tips and tutorials are very good. Here is the effect I am trying to get with the faseers. That crystal blue color is what I am trying to achieve. Anyone give any advice as to how to go about getting that effect? Anyone know any tutorials for this color scheme?

That farseer actually had a tutorial/masterclass for the sword in an old White Dwarf. I'll see if I can find a number.

[Edit] The February 2017 WD has some crystal sword stuff, but there is also an older one from maybe 2015/2016 too.

Looks a lot like these videos from Warhammer TV:
