So Gang War 2 comes out next week and I’ve got my Goliath Gang assembled and am very excited about the Orlocks. But why not kit bash some Scavvies. So got out all the bit boxes and started picking out some bits that would work. Come up with 2 so far. I think the chain weapons on the smaller guy my be to big. My look for some smaller ones. But so for I like where it is going. Got some plans for some bounty hunters as well. But I think Necro is really going to get me back into some fun converting. Still need to finish my Ironjawz but cutting up plastic is so soothing. I’ll have some more later but I’m not sure when they will get paint. Any ideas to make them better are welcome.

Got another started. Either a bounty hunter or the 2nd in command of my Scavvie bunch. Not to shabby so far. The hard part is going through all the bits to see what works and what I want to use.

So kind of an update kind of not. I got The Goliaths primed and one based. I went mostly out of the box with them but I did change a couple. Still have all the metal plates and shoulder pads to do. I may use some but not all. Then my orks for shadow war I rebased. Plan on using them for Goliath proxies as will just have to make a few with the special Goliath weapons.

So taking a break from my ironjawz army. Need a change of colors. So why not some more worm on my Goliath gang. No name yet. But the leaders name is Grimlock and I’m going to name them all after different dinobots. So got some good progress done on Grimlock. Layered, shaded and first set of highlights. But alas it is sleep time. But befor I go here is a pic.

Yes sir. I’m making good progress on the next. The other names I have so far are Slash, Snarl, Sludge, Strafe, Slag, Slug, Slog, Striker, and Scorn. All have been Dinobots in one form or another. Wanted to keep the whole gang with “S” names besides Grimlock. One my phone is charged I’ll get another pic up.

So here is where I’m at. Still a work in progress. But like where it’s going. I think I’ll name him Sludge or Scorn.

Scorn it is. Wanted to do some more on him last night but fell asleep. My plan is to do highlights and for the mask lenses I was thinking a bright light green. To kinda double a night vision.

Here is Scorn with a little more paint. Not done but closer. I do like these guys. I’ve got the orlocks and Eashers as well but have yet to assemble them. I think the Orlocks will be next. The Van Seer look pretty awesome as well.

Got another one done. Well almost. But a lot of paint. Next up is Strafe. Some minor conversion work on the right hand gun.

One more in the works. Got some work on Sludge. Went with the classic green for the Mohawk. Works well with the color scheme as well.

Looking good. Plenty of opportunity for punker hair colors with the core box gangs.

Thanks guys. GW has made some really fun kits to paint lately. I normally don’t paint figures assembled but the Goliath’s so far have been fun and not frustrating. Gonna see if a can’t knock out 2-3 more over the next few days I’m off. Not sure if I will stay with the green Mohawk or go with another color.

Oh my god! Long time no update. Been a crazy month with work and kids. Not much time for painting. But I did manage to squeeze some stuff out this month. Only one that’s finished. The chaplain. Got two goliaths started and a test Orlock and genestealer cult. I like where they are going so far. I really like the colors for the genestealer cult. I’m gonna carry over the paint job on the base of the chaplain over to the rest of the gangs. But I’m hoping to be able to get some more done this coming month. At least finish my goliaths.

Oh, man, that color scheme for the GS cultist is out of this world. Can't wait to see it finished. Are you going to get some purples in the skintone?

Great painting all around; that black and red trim combination on the Goliath Ganger's trousers is exactly what I was looking for to use on the Fleet Officer I finished just a bit ago- I'm going back and repaint the trim on her landing coat based on your pics.

Youwashock- that’s the plan. I was thinking that new sea elf skin tone. Don’t remember the name. But was gonna use a purple wash on it to see how it worked. I need to pick up a pot of it this week when I get to my hobby store. But yea I wasn’t sure at first about it but it worked really well. And for me it really fits with the whole genestealer cult theme.

Meer_cat- feel free. I really like how they turned out as well. I was thinking at first to paint all the gang that way but I could start to get confusing. But like they say. The best ideas are those you got from someone else. And do you have a pic of the fleet officer. Would love to see how it turned out.

Thanks CK. I want to try and get them finished by the weekend. Van Seer comes out with gang war 3. I may hold off on them for now and just pick up gang war 3. I have my Goliaths, Orlock, Genestealer Cults, Chaos Cultists and the Eashers which I haven’t even started yet. Damn you games workshop for making them such cool models.

Got some skin tone done on the genestealer cultist. Did some work on the skin tone. Flesh like with a purple hue. I’m thinking yellow for the eyes.

I can’t take credit for the color scheme completely. My son painted a chaos marine last year. Mind you he 6 now. But the colors he picked looked great togeather. So when I decided to do a Genestealer cult warband I thought I would use his colors. I my use his him again in the future to pick out antother warband color scheme.

Nice work shank The goliath scheme looks really good, and great inspiration for the cult. Definitely use him again.
