So I am thinking of taking a new crack at converting some biovores, mostly because real biovores are such a gak model.

Thing is, it's really just the arms and the head thats bad.

I am considering using the Biovore model,

Swapping the head for Hive/Tyrant Guards or really anything else of about the right size.

And trying to get the legs closer to the old models

Long and clawed. Closer to Tervigon Walking legs. Right now I am looking at the Pincers on a Lictor as the limbs and figuring out the feet from there. Anyone got any thoughts on this? Alternative suggestions?

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

As an alternative suggestion, Ive seen the Tyrant Guard conversion work really well. I did some a few years ago, theres lots of ways of using that kit.

Yeah ive used hive guard. I dont like when 2 nid units look too similar and NOW im using actual hive guard in my lists. So i need my biovores fo be a bit more different.

My idea is take left over Bio Cannons and model them buried underground punching up through the ground.

I made some out of tyrannofex arms, much more artillery like for my taste.
