Eldar look humanlike but their physiology is very different. If human females can't be Space Marines, then Eldar certainly can't.

Edit: ancient fluff had it that Tigurius was part Eldar, but that's been looong retconned/ignored.

Wow. That violates the laws of current fluff even more than Obi-Wan Sherlock Crosseu. Love that old RT fluff

Continuing my tradition of giving answers to questions even the OP doesn't want answered...

If an Eldar received the Space Marine gene treatments he'd die from organ incompatibilities. If the process was adjusted for his (surprising vulcan like) anatomy than he'd be an improved eldar, not a space marine.

Come to think of it, there are buffed up Eldar in fluff and in models. Dark Reapers are taller and way buffer than normal Eldar...

...you've broken the code. Dark Reapers aren't unbalanced. They are just Primaris Eldar.

My mistake, not Tigurius, merely Chief Librarian of the Ultramarines. It was a fun time, Rogue Trader. Unfortunately a lot of it is not really "sourceable" beyond curiosity.

I love how he served with the Dark angels prior to the UM as well.

Imo the Eldar version of a Space Marine is an Exarch. Achieved through different means, but amounting to a similar sort of thing.

I think the real question is, would an Eldar butt look as good in Space Marine armour?

Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

There is no where in that extract though that says a half-Eldar became a SM though: he became an astropath and eventually became chief of communications, neither of which is a job held by a Space Marine.

The image that has been tacked onto the abstract is the only thing that suggests a half-Eldar SM could exist.
