So, say I just didn't want to spend the time to take all my models off square/rectangle bases and put them onto round bases, but I still wanted to use them in an AoS army where I've bought new models that only come with round bases.

Is it legal to use both square/rectangle and round bases on the same army in AoS (especially in tournament play?

Thanks in advance

for now yes it is legal!
you can even uses bases NOT produced by GW if you so wishes, and there is no rules conserning the size of the base.
i asked support last year and that was the reply i got!

but, it is fair to assume that in some distant future when the old square base fantasy armys has began to dissapear from ebay and when all of the aos kits comes whit round bases, that round GW bases will be a requirment.

That actually does make sense. That said, with the amount of people that still play 8th Edition or 9th Age, I really don't see Square Bases disappearing off eBay anytime soon.

Thanks again for the answer!
