I have a few questions about the Adept of the Codex warlord trait. The trait as writen: Whilst your Warlord is alive, roll a dice each time you spend a Command Point to use a Stratagem; on a 5+ that CP is immediately refunded.

1. Can this trait be used on stratagems used before the battle like Relics of the Chapter or Chapter Master?

2. How does this trait work for stratagems that cost more then 1 CP, for example honour the chapter which costs 3. Would i a) roll once and if I succeed I get all three back b) roll three times and get one CP back for each 5+ or c) roll once and if successful I only get one CP back?

1. Yes.

2. It's a roll per Command Point spent, which we know because some other rules which function similarly do so more specifically when a Stratagem is used, for example.

1. Yes
2. Option b: roll one die per CP spent and gain one CP per 5+ rolled.
