Hey all

I have recently got the Baal Predator kit and I already know what main armament I will arm it with, but what side sponsons should I arm it with? I verse Death Guard, Admech, Tau and thousand sons currently so long range fire helps me a lot. So what is the best option because I might want the option that can deal with medium to CQB type weaponry as I like to stop that Death Guard from touching me up close and have the range to deal with Admech's long range sniper's. I am guessing Heavy Bolter side sponsons at the moment but would heavy flamer's help or no? thnx

Are you planning on eventually fielding three to take advantage of the Killshot stratagem? If so I'd keep the points low and go HB. Actually, I'd probably just generally go with HB for the points savings and because they fill the same role as the AC. I'm not a big fan of the flamers. Too expensive and I generally don't want to run my Preds up into the teeth of infantry.

Just depends on your plan for them.

If your being active with them, moving them forward and going for objectives (which they absolutely should be doing in my opinion), HF sponsons aren't a bad idea. You never degrade in damage output and your overwatch makes your opponent second guess charging to tie it up with chaff and single characters alike.

If your sitting back with them, Sicarans are way better at doing that so use them instead.
