Only a few days left for some wonderful Scale75 35mm figures and busts (some great freebies too!). Check out the KS page!

I probably should have mentioned in the first post that as well as the project already being funded (and on the way to further stretch goals being unlocked), even the basic 40 Euro pledge gives you the following freebies;along with what you choose to pledge for!

The pictures really don't do the figures any justice, they are top quality resin sculpts!

So they're still doing the wargame as well huh? Did anyone ever play it? Heard the models were great (Scale 75 models usually are) but I never heard about the game itself.

Models are fantastic, not sure about the vehicles though, don't own any.

It seems clear that the guy at Scale75 who lost his life (RIP, sorry I can't remember his name) was the guy at the company who was pushing the wargame, after his tragic demise they don't seem to know what to do with Fallen Frontiers, which is a great shame.

IMHO the best thing that could happen to the game is if Scale sold the rights to produce it to somebody who is more into wargames than large-scale figures and busts. Somebody who could push the game as much as it deserves. God knows how that would work though.

Agreed!

Scale75 seems to have no idea what to do with Fallen Frontiers as a game, and it really shows...

Still, the models are fantastic, and the casting quality is amazing too!

EDIT:

And as of today, there is still SEVEN days left in the campaign!

I've backed this kickstarter for the busts, the quality seems to be amazing and I really want to have a go at painting skin on such a big canvas.

The 35mm and 75mm Fallen Frontires minis are all exceptional too, I have some of both, never really looked at the game much though. I would hope they could get a rules guy in to bring a new version of the game at some point. There are a few freelance out there that could do an amazing job.

Does anybody know which two factions come in the 75 euro starter? I think in the last Kickstarter you got to pick which factions.

Also, anybody know how the rules play?

From the looks of it, Ares and Riff?

Tried the game twice. Fun little skirmish game, but the rules were not well written. Kept running into situations with no resolution. Miniatures are beautiful though.

Lots was 'lost in translation' when it came to the English version of the rules.

They've been promising a second edition for some time now.

Final few hours, one last push!

Firstly, all of the glorious miniatures and extras from the Fallen Frontiers universe (there are way more 35mm figures than this pic shows!), all available in the pledge manager:

I didn't realise quite how large the busts were going to be, but this pic shows them next to 35mm figures, so even people as slow-witted as me can see clearly

And here are the pledge levels (or you could just forget about the beautiful busts, pledge one Euro and grab the amazing 35mm figures in the PM):

Have dived in to back this though I have no use or desire for another bust (realistically its not going to get painted anymore than the Luxumbra ones I got...), but the free 35mm and discount on sable brushes makes it worth it with free shipping. Also this is the top risk and challenge;
• Unexpected successful campaign.

Got to love a company that doesn't expect to succeed (yes I know its a typo, probably due to translation but it made me chuckle.)

There's a lot of that in the Fallen Frontiers rules and cards too.

It isn't as funny there...!

Just downloaded the rules and had a quick flick through. I see your point... Whilst the English is a hell of a lot better than my Spanish, I don't sell games in Spanish! Its all very pretty though as are the models.

What's it like to actually play?

Oh and kickstarter closes in 13 hours! As it has currently exceeded funding by over 500% I dont think thats unlucky for them.

Stunning models but the last kickstarter I ended up dropping my pledge. Some friends got the rules through and it was a hot mess however as everyone says amazing models.
